Every Gift to ETC Makes a Difference!
Dear Trailblazers,
We have an important goal of raising $50,000 of critical funding to end 2019 strong, so that more advocacy on behalf of the trails and its users can take place in 2020. I know that the trails system is important to you, so please consider giving a special gift before December 31, 2019, to support ETC’s work to advocate for and connect trail segments across our region.
By giving a gift today, you’re making sure there is a trail advocate who values and protects the trails and its users. ETC serves as a resource, advisor to and partner with the community’s decision makers. We’re working hard on your behalf to ensure your safety on the trails. We’re promoting and facilitating discussions with city leaders, policymakers, stakeholders and businesses. These efforts increase walkability of the trails, safety, and connectivity. Many improvements and additions to the trail network have already been made. But with your help, more can be accomplished to establish a fully connected trail system to improve safety and accessibility for all Trailblazers.
In addition, your giving will provide trail experiences to children, adults, and families in the community. Through the Upgrade Bike Share Program, Streets Alive, and Trailblazer Initiatives you and others are able to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and be connected to people and places in the community. Your support for the trails helps provides a wonderful benefit to yourself, your family, and your community.
The trails system is an integral part of enhancing the quality of life here in Vanderburgh County. It offers opportunities for recreation, active transportation, physical activity, being in nature, and connecting with others. All of these activities can help us to be happier and healthier.
I know that you care about the safety, walkability, and connectivity of the trails as well as the quality of life here in Evansville. So, I’m hoping you’ll send in a special tax-deductible gift today to bolster advocacy efforts for the trails and trail users in 2020.
Please send in your gift by December 31, 2019, to help raise $50,000 of critical funding to end 2019 strong so that even more can be done in 2020 to integrate trails into daily living and create a more vibrant and active Evansville. You can mail in your gift using the enclosed reply card or give online at https://www.walkbikeevv.org/donate.
Thank you for being a Trailblazer!
Sincerely,
Lorie Van Hook, Executive Director
